CUSTOM INDICATOR LIGHT
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to indicator lights. In particular, the invention relates to a user-specific indicator light for indicating the status of a user.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTS Conference room exterior doors have red lights that indicate that the meeting room is busy or free. Typically, a red light indicates that the room is occupied. People working in open-plan offices need peace of mind at work. For this need, several user-specific LEDs have been developed that require an N 20 cable to operate. Alternatively, the operation is controlled, for example, by a smartphone application or a computer. With respect to the simple need for use N, the solutions are complex and their usability deteriorates due to the necessary upgrades or terminal dependency. At its most inconvenient, the O light should be set to maintain the company's IT support. When the user's hardware s 25 changes, such as a smartphone or computer, all applications must be updated O accordingly. This may take a considerable amount of time for the user to reactivate the> indicator light.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to eliminate or at least alleviate the above-mentioned drawbacks. In particular, it is an object of the invention to provide a user-specific indicator light by which the user can indicate that he is free or busy.
The gripping means according to the invention is characterized by what is stated in claim 1. An application according to the invention is a user-specific indicator light comprising at least one accumulator or electric battery; a switch to turn the indicator light on or off and a flat surface at the bottom of the indicator light. The bottom of the indicator light includes fastening means for temporarily attaching it to the vertical structure of the office space. The LED indicates that the user is either free or busy. An office space can be, for example, an open-plan office or other limited space to which several people have access. An office space or the like can be, for example, a café or a similar public space. Office space can be, for example, a single booth or a space delimited by screens.
In teleworking, office space is any space suitable for working with a laptop that the user can reserve at least temporarily for himself.
In one application, the mounting means is a ferromagnetic surface at the bottom of the indicator light, whereby the indicator light can be mounted on a magnetic surface.
The ferromagnetic surface at the bottom of the indicator light is sufficient to hold it in place in the external magnet. The external magnet is, for example, an adhesive magnet with an adhesive surface, to which the indicator light O can be attached. In one application, a flat surface O is formed on the magnet to promote adhesion. In one application, the magnet includes a sticker, N 25, which, after removing the cover, allows the user to attach the magnet to the desired location.
a & In one application, the mounting means is a magnet at the bottom of the indicator light 2, whereby the indicator light can be mounted on a ferromagnetic surface.
N In office spaces, the standard vertical ferromagnetic surface is a screen support iron to which an indicator light can be attached to inform other users whether the user is free or busy. In one application, the indicator light comprises means for charging at least one battery wirelessly, for example according to the Qi protocol. In one application, the indicator light includes a charging port for charging at least one battery. The battery may be replaceable through a drop-down door or case. In one application, the indicator light includes a wireless interface for turning the indicator light on or off wirelessly.
The present invention improves the usability of personal LEDs with its simplicity. Switching the indicator light on or off can be done manually, as the user's assumed distance from the indicator light is at most a few steps. In business use, simplicity increases operational reliability, as the indicator light does not have to be kept on the list of devices maintained in the IT system. The indicator light can be carried in a computer bag, activated and switched on at the user's request.
One application according to the invention is a brilliant red light that works with a manual on / off switch, with which, for example, an office worker or student can indicate to his environment that he is busy.
S Modern office environments are full of interruptions. Especially in open O workspaces, a large proportion of interruptions occur face-to-face by a colleague, supervisor or O fellow student. With the indicator light according to the invention, it is possible to communicate to the environment that the user does not want to be disturbed when the light is on. Typical situations during which you do not want to be disturbed are urgent a J work tasks, work tasks that require concentration, phone calls, online meetings, and other S meetings and brainstorming sessions. The purpose of the light is to streamline the work of people, especially those working in open work spaces N, by providing an easy way to communicate S to their environment when the time is not right for interruptions.
In addition to allowing light to create peace of mind for the user, communicating busy space with other employees reduces the time spent by other employees when there is no need to inquire if someone is busy and when it would be a good time to approach that employee. Examples of suitable environments for the use of the light are: open-plan offices, other office spaces, study spaces, office hotels, other spaces suitable for work or study, such as libraries, cafes, etc., home offices. The users of the indicator light can be, for example: knowledge workers, students and teachers, office and office workers, as well as supervisors and managers. The indicator light solves the problem of previously known solutions in that they need a cable to work and the operation is controlled by an application from a computer or some other device. At its simplest, the light is battery-powered and does not require a computer or other devices to operate. A simple solution saves you from many problems, such as: application compatibility issues and version upgrades, device compatibility issues, the need for IT or other technical staff to install, 1, and user and interface training.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention will now be described in detail by means of application examples S with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a user-specific indicator light 10 according to the invention, shown in oblique direction.
Figure 2 shows the same example of a lateral direction.
The indicator light 10 comprises at least one battery (14) or an electric battery 5 from which the light receives its energy.
Inside the housing of the indicator light 10 there is, for example, an LED or a similar component producing a large amount of light with low electrical power.
On top of the LED, there may be a light diffuser integrated, for example, integrated into the upper surface of the housing, so that the light can radiate in several directions.
For example, the top of the housing of the indicator light 10 is made of hard, transparent plastic.
In one embodiment, a manually operated switch 11 is connected to the indicator light 10 to turn the indicator light 10 on or off.
In the present example, the switch 11 is connected to the upper part of the housing, whereby the switch 11 is activated by pressing the upper part of the housing.
The bottom 12 of the indicator light 10 has a flat surface, whereby the indicator light 10 remains upright, for example on a table.
The bottom of the indicator light 10 includes mounting means 12 for temporarily attaching the indicator light 10 to the vertical structure of the office space.
Temporary attachment means that the indicator light 10 can be carried with the user and attached to the surface of the office space without tools.
Examples of possible attachments in an office environment are: laptop cover 40, desktop monitor border, workspace wall or screen, conference or collaboration room door mirror or exterior wall, telephone booth or other soundproof workspace door mirror or exterior wall, office room door mirror or exterior.
O The indicator light 10 indicates that the user 20 is either free or busy, for example N 25 as shown in Fig. 3.
The indicator light 10 can be placed, for example, behind the back of the user 20E, whereby the indicator light does not disturb the user 20. At the same time, others in state O know how to give the user 20 the peace he wants. 2 The fastening means can be, for example, a removable adhesive surface, a combination of adhesive tape and N mating surfaces or a magnet.
In one embodiment, the mounting means is a ferromagnetic surface at the bottom 12 of the indicator light, whereby the indicator light can be attached to the magnetic surface. The magnetic surface may be ready in an office environment or it may be a separate, adhesive magnet 13 to which the indicator light 10 can be attached. In one application, the fastening means consist of a metal disc at the bottom 12 of the indicator light 10, by means of which the light can be fastened to different surfaces and substrates by means of magnets 13 to be glued. Figure 4 shows an exemplary application in a laptop computer 40. A magnet 13 is glued to the cover of the laptop computer 40, to which a ferromagnetic material 12, such as a metal disc, is arranged to adhere to the bottom of the indicator light 10. The magnet 13 holds the indicator light in place in the various positions of the lid of the laptop 40. The indicator light 10 indicates outside the personal space of the user of the laptop 40. Alternatively, the indicator light can be attached to the computer monitor in a similar manner. The indicator light 10 can thus also be mounted on non-vertical surfaces. An example of this advantage is that when attached to the top of the lid of the laptop 40, the indicator light 10 is more visible and easily travels with it, for example when moving between workstations.
In one application, the indicator light 10 is at least partially magnetic. In one embodiment, the mounting means is a magnet at the bottom 12 of the indicator light 10.
By means of the magnet, the indicator light 10 can be detachably attached to the ferromagnetic surface. There are several ferromagnetic surfaces in the office environment in a list like the one described above.
O O In one embodiment, the bottom 12 of the indicator light 10 has a thin rubber ring that O prevents the indicator light 10 from sliding on a hard surface. One example of an N 25 rubber ring is a thin and flat ring that surrounds the metal disc of the base 12, E whereby it does not prevent magnetic attachment but prevents slippage when necessary when the O magnet is not in between. 2 In one application, the indicator light 10 comprises means 15 for wirelessly charging at least one battery N 14. The means includes at least one processor and memory, whereby the computer program stored in the memory performs the steps according to the download protocol when the instructions are run on the processor. In one application, wireless charging is implemented as an inductive charge, via an inductive connection. In one application, the indicator light 10 can be charged by charging means according to the Oi standard. In one embodiment, the indicator light 10 includes an induction loop according to the Qi standard for receiving electrical energy. In one application, the indicator light 10 is charged by means of a charging cable. The charging cable can be, for example, a USB cable, in which case the charging follows the charging according to the USB standard. LED 10 may support a variety of available USB charging standards. In one application, the indicator light includes a wireless interface for turning the indicator light on or off wirelessly with a remote switch. One example of a suitable connection interface is Bluetooth or Zigbee. With the help of a remote switch, for example, the light placed on the doorway of an office can be controlled from inside the office with a remote switch. In workplaces where it is good to place the light as high as possible on the wall in terms of visibility, the remote switch makes it easier to switch the light on and off. The light can be placed where it is needed and is not limited to the immediate vicinity of the computer. The light can also be placed on the walls or door jambs of the rooms, in which case entire rooms can also be marked as reserved without expensive fixed or reserved indicators. The invention is not limited to the application examples presented above, S, but many modifications are possible while maintaining the protection requirements.
